Zig-Zag Band - Zig-Zag Band: Chigiyo Music Kings (1987-1998)

Hailing from the small Zimbabwean town of Kwekwe, Zig- Zag Band burst onto the scene in the 1980s with a sound they called Chigiyoa vibrant fusion of reggae, traditional rhythms, brass arrangements, and mbira- inspired guitar. The style they pioneered soon became the sound of the region, reshaping Zimbabwe's popular music landscape.
