Wilson, Reuben - On Broadway (Classic Vinyl Series)

Blue Note was home to numerous great Hammond B3 organists in the ’60s, and in 1968, Reuben Wilson’s debut album, On Broadway, introduced a distinctive new stylist whose punchy hard-grooving approach enlivened a diverse set of material with a dynamic band featuring Trevor Lawrence on tenor saxophone, Malcolm Riddick on guitar, and Tommy Derrick on drums.
