Legendary songwriter Jimmy Webb (“Wichita Lineman,” “By The Time I Get To Phoenix”) has made the album he has always wanted to with Yours For The Taking: The Found Songs of Jimmy Webb.
For his 80th birthday, Jimmy revisited songs stashed in the piano bench and never recorded, due to circumstance or chance. Eleven new tracks backed by lush orchestrations and two original demos are anchored by the poignant “Winter Clothes.”
