Warren James - Tales From Film City

Warren James are James Kirk (Orange Juice) & Warren McIntyre (Starry Skies), joined for live outings by Hal on bass and Michael (V-Twin/1990s) on drums. The album also features Gerard Love (ex-Teenage Fanclub) and Chris Geddes (Belle & Sebastian), amongst others.

James Kirk is a founding member of Glaswegian indie legends, Orange Juice, with his jangly, melodic guitar riffs (he also wrote their jangletastic song Felicity).

Warren McIntyre is the singer in the 7-piece, Starry Skies. He has performed live across Europe - including at Paris's famous 'Caveau de la Huchette' and the Prague Opera Hall - and in New York's East Village.

'Tales From Film City' was mostly recorded in the songwriting / recording studio they have established in Glasgow's Film City in Govan - the same place where Franz Ferdinand recorded their debut. The album also features input from Gerard Love (ex-Teenage Fanclub) and Chris Geddes (Belle & Sebastian), amongst others.
