Vaughan, Stevie Ray - Couldn't Stand The Weather

Hailed as one of the greatest guitarists of all time, Stevie Ray Vaughan's second album with his band, Double Trouble, did everything a second album should do. It confirmed that Vaughan was no fluke and cemented his status as one of the modern blues giants.

This double album, Couldn't Stand the Weather, also includes original takes, outtakes and alternate takes of songs from the posthumous release The Sky Is Crying. In 1995, Q-Music wrote of the late Texan bluesman: 'Vaughan's post-Hendrix Stratocasting still sparkles... a reminder of the wit that often informed his phrasing and his willingness to torch the boundaries'.
