Three years in the making, The South Facade might be the Cantabrigians’ debut but it’s awash with the sort of sprawling ideas and inventive arrange-ments few artists hope to cram into an entire ca-reer.
The gifted group’s art-rock sensibilities take wildly creative tacks, skipping from theatrical harmonies, through prog freak-outs, into breezy yacht rock swoons as they tangle together virtuoso leads and off-kilter rhythms.
