Strachey, Dorothy - Olivia

At the age of sixteen, Olivia is sent to a Parisian finishing school to broaden her education. Soon after her arrival, she finds herself falling under the spell of her beautiful, sharp-witted teacher, Madamoiselle Julie. Inspired by the author’s own youth, banned by the Catholic Church, Olivia is a groundbreaking, passionate, and subtle story of first – and forbidden – love.
