The A-side - “Hell Below,” a cover of the Curtis Mayfield classic more closely resembles the East Of Underground version, with a furious tempo and driving wah guitar. File under Unhinged Funk.
The B-side, “Free,” previously available as a 45 on the private press label, Ewing, from 1971, is quite literally inconceivably rare.
Now, thanks to our friends at Numero Group, this two-sided heater is available for a low price...while supplies last.
