Steele, Colin - Stramash II

A groundbreaking ten piece who mix the harmonic sophistication and improvisational fire of jazz with Scottish folk music, returning after 18yrs with the long-awaited ‘Stramash II’ on Gadgemo records.

A cross-genre ensemble of a jazz quintet with 3 fiddles, cello and pipes/whistles. This is not a fusion band, its music born out of an organic connection and richly embedded musical heritage.
