Spidergawd - from eight to infinity

from eight to infinity is, as it is with every new album, a reaction to their previous album.

Whereas Spidergawd VII has a significant 80s pop- rock touch, from eight to infinity is a bit more of an exoteric hard rock album. The most important references such as Thin Lizzy and Motorhead are still obvious, but where Spidergawd VII leant towards 80s Rush, Adrian Smith and Boston, from eight to infinity is more of a prototype in its references towards AC/ DC and Cheap Trick in one end, and Metallica and Black Sabbath in the other.
