Sanders, Ed (The Fugs) - The Secret Index To The Past

Planned as a Greatest Hits album for Ed Sanders’ 60th anniversary, the project shifted when he delivered powerful new songs. 

Here they are together with two recent incredible tracks from Sanders and fellow rock legend John B Sebastian recording together for the first time in two of the earliest Sanders compositions, 'I Want to Know' and 'Ah, Sunflower'.

With the assistance of the Danish psychedelic pop duo, Hasse Åbner Ild (Hasse Opens Fire), and Danish keyboard veteran, Mogens Papsøe, we have created an exciting and different album on the basis of Ed Sanders’ excellent vocals and strum stick performances - a blend of magic poetry, mysterious sounds – and important messages from one of the greatest artists of our time…
