Sagor & Swing - Orgelfärger (2026 Reissue)

When Sagor & Swing released the album, Orgelfärger, it landed with a thud. The singular organ music—at once otherworldly and comfortingly present—was praised by both critics and audiences alike. Andres Lokko wrote in Expressen that it was the best Swedish album of the year, and in Nöjesguiden it placed seventh in the year-end issue’s final roundup. Since then, the music has been widely used in film and television, for example in Fyra nyanser av brunt and the HBO series Eastbound and Down.

Orgelfärger was followed by two more albums, Melodier och fåglar and the Grammy-nominated Allt hänger samman. Together, these three albums came to form a trilogy. Since 2020, Coop Records has been working on a project to reissue the trilogy on vinyl in remastered, partly reworked versions. They began at the end with the final installment and have now arrived at the first—Orgelfärger.

A quarter of a century has passed, but the music is timeless: enchanted forests and sacred fifths are woven together into a personal musical language best described as—this sounds like Sagor & Swing.

The new cover artwork is by photographic artist Linda Westin, a pleasing visual resting place for the eyes as the record spins out into space.
