Commercially even more successful than their debut album, it cemented Roxy's position as one of the UK’s most inventive rock bands and is widely seen as both their definitive album and as one of the greatest art-rock/glam-rock albums of all time.
Originally released on 23 March 1973 by Island Records, the album expands on the experimental nature of their self-titled debut, featuring more elaborate production and experimentation. It was their last album to feature synthesiser player Brian Eno.
