Over two recordings sessions at Stax in July and December, Elvis ended up recording many hits such as “It’s Midnight” and “Promised Land”, which was originally written by Chuck Berry.

This compilation collects the best of these sessions on two LPs, remastered from the original master tapes and includes newly mixed outtakes.
