A dub reworking of the band's critically acclaimed 2017 'Love &
Austerity' album (**** Mojo magazine), aptly titled ‘Dub & Austerity’. This continues the
series of Pama Int’l dub albums, which have previously seen dub collaborations with; Mad
Professor, Wrongtom, Nick Manasseh, John ‘Ghost Town’ Collins and Groove Corporation.
We are honoured that this next collaborator is.... the exceptional LA producer/Aggrolites
organ maestro - Roger Rivas!
The original 'Love & Austerity' album bumped & swayed from “premier rocksteady” (David Rodigan) to thunderous rockers and soul ballads. From his LA studio, Roger has exquisitely versioned select tracks in classic vintage, and highly original, dub style, including:
- Heatwave (originally featured on Craig Charles Funk & Soul show's ‘Best of 2017’ on BBC Radio 6 music, where Craig declared.. “as ever their productions & taste are faultless”)
- Wake Up (again featured on Craig Charles Funk & Soul show's ‘Big Hitters for 2017’ on BBC6)
