Cosmos came to Europe from Ghana as a boat refugee. Now, he is a bottle collector living in Copenhagen, sleeping under the open sky in city parks. By night, he writes messages to his family back home in Woe and by day he navigates the city streets with The Crows, a tightknit group of migrants he has befriended. When Cosmos meets the enigmatic Elizabeth at a hair salon, everything changes; between competitive games of basketball and swims in the sea, they fall in love. Cosmos discovers a life rich with poetry, fashion and art, a life far removed from his time as a boat refugee with no guarantee of a final destination. As he loses himself to Elizabeth’s glamorous world and open heart, home takes on a new meaning . . .
