Oceansize - Frames

Originally released in 2007, Oceansize's 'Frames' stands as a testament to the UK band's fearless ambition & uncompromising creativity.

The 'Frames' sessions marked a turning point for the band, emerging from the shadows of their critically acclaimed yet commercially unfulfilled second album, 'Everyone Into Position' (2005). This time, unbound by the pressures of mainstream appeal, Oceansize embraced a newfound freedom, pouring their creative energy into crafting an album that is as challenging as it is rewarding. The result is a record that revels in its expansive, cinematic scope.

"a vast, rewarding journey...Oceansize's latest masterpiece" - POPMATTERS

From the hypnotic melodies of "Commemorative ___T-Shirt" to the crushing beauty of "Trail Of Fire," 'Frames' captures Oceansize at their best, unafraid to explore the highest peaks & darkest depths of their musical ambitions. Recorded predominantly at the iconic Monnow Valley Studios with Chris Sheldon (Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, Shed Seven) returning as producer, 'Frames' has a timeless quality that sounds as fresh now as it did upon its original release.
