The Orchard is a beautiful collection of songs; strong in melody and rich in poetic imagery, that dives deep emotionally. But the overriding feeling on this album is one of hope and light and possibility--just what we need in these troubled times.
The album was recorded in London over the course of 6 weeks last winter with producer, Tim Bran, known for the sound he'd gotten with HAEVN and London Grammar. Predominantly made with just Tim and Heather throwing ideas back and forth, the production is authentic and natural but also contemporary.
