Released on 26 September 1980, Absolutely kept the momentum of the debut going. Lead single, ‘Baggy Trousers’, stayed on the singles chart for more than four months, and the title came from a favourite expression of the band’s tour manager.
The album reached No.2 in both the UK and the Netherlands, No.31 in New Zealand and No.56 in Australia, and also charted in Sweden, Germany, Norway and Finland.
