Long Fling - Long Fling

Pip Blom and Willem Smit have already won over our hearts with their respective projects (Pip Blom and Personal Trainer) and now the couple have joined musical forces to further charm us with their offbeat guitar-and-drum-computer anthems about socks, shoes and staying home. 

Duets, but only in the technical sense of the word, since they contain no converging cries of longing, no climactic payoffs and not even any vocal harmonies. Light yet weighty, elusive and effortlessly cool in all the wrong ways, and raising more questions than they answer, ‘Long Fling’ is loaded with wonky earworms that you’ll find yourself humming along to in a ridiculously familiar fashion after just a couple of listens.
