Lanae, Ravyn - Blue Island

Ravyn Lenae is a singer-songwriter from Chicago who began releasing music in the late 2010s with a trio of EPs, making her biggest splash with 2018's Crush EP and its lead single, "Sticky."

Her 2022 debut album, HYPNOS, was critically acclaimed. Pitchfork called it an expert "study of R&B history," while The Guardian praised her falsetto as a force that "wields lightness like a superpower."

Her 2024 sophomore album, Bird's Eye, earned widespread praise and marked her late-night TV debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The following year proved even more transformative.
