Kodaline - We Were Only Young

After over a decade together, beloved Irish band, Kodaline, close a chapter with We Were Only Young, their fifth and final studio album.

The title comes from the track of the same name - a bittersweet reflection on looking back at better times. “Like most songs I write, it comes from something real,” says lead singer Steve Garrigan. “That feeling of being part of something special... In some ways, it reflects the journey we’ve been on together.”

Written entirely by Garrigan, a first for the band, We Were Only Young stands as the perfect farewell from one of the most compelling indie-pop bands of their generation.
