A previously unreleased collection recorded direct-to-acetate during the duo’s 2024 performance at the Blue Room In Nashville, TN.

Karly Hartzman and MJ Lenderman – Live at Third Man Records sees Wednesday founder and songwriter, Karly Hartzman, and acclaimed singer-songwriter guitarist, MJ Lenderman, performing music from both the Wednesday catalogue as well as Lenderman’s own evolving solo body of work. Highlights include spirited renditions of such fan favourites as “How Do You Let the Love Into the Heart That Isn’t Split Wide Open,” “She’s Leaving You,” “Formula One,” “Feast of Snakes,” “TLC Cage match,” “Chosen to Deserve,” and more.

The performance – held during 2024’s AMERICANAFEST – was recorded direct-to-acetate in Third Man Records’ Blue Room in Nashville, TN and cut exclusively on a 1955 Scully lathe that originally came from King Records in Cincinnati. Recorded live in one-shot, with no overdubs, no redo's, no starting-and-stopping, the process is truly of another time, rendered obsolete by the late 1950's and only available nowadays in TMR's locations in Detroit and Nashville.
