Laced with 60s occult psych influences and underpinned by dusty drum machines, 'Canyon of Blood' feels like Morricone scoring a fever dream rather than a duel. It’s music that floats somewhere between séance and romance, heavy with myth and mood. Timmi Meskers, based in North Country, New York, is an interdisciplinary artist whose work explores themes of memory, mysticism, and decay. As The Garden Gate, she channels influences from the occult revival and late-60s counterculture into a sound that is tender, theatrical, and just a little cursed.
