Flood - A New Way Of Living (2026 Reissue)

Wonderful 1972 guitar and flute-based progressive acid rock from Devon, England. This band supported Genesis & Hawkwind among others, gigged heavily for two years, and it shows on these studio recordings recovered from acetates. Great songs, great long jams, surprisingly heavy at times, with stunning lead guitar—tight but loose, as they say.

Stylistically, it sits comfortably with bands like Titus Groan, East of Eden, and Skin Alley. Could easily have appeared on Orange Dawn, RCA Neon, or Andrew Lauders’ United Artists.
