Dééfait's debut album lands with real critical momentum: 8.5/10 in Noise Magazine (drawing comparisons to Sonic Youth, Can and Godspeed), four stars in Rolling Stone, and a spot on Les Inrockuptibles' "15 acts to watch in 2026" list.
For fans of Fugazi, Boredoms and Gnod — noise/psychedelic/gothic rock built around Ric Lara's piercing "heliumcore" vocals (English/French/Spanish) over a bass-driven, guitar-layered wall of sound. Recorded at Black Box studios in Angers (Peter Deimel) and mixed by Andy Blundell/Gnod.
