Danalogue - Teleportations

Your Comet Is Coming electronics tinkerer unveils his first solo album on the influential Castles In Space label. It’s a record formed of cosmic synthesis that seems to draw its powers from a rich seam directly linked to the earth’s core before rocketing off into the outer reaches of the universe.

Moving from bucolic ambience into galloping electronica that warbles and burbles like it’s bubbling up from some deep oceanic spring, Teleportations does exactly what it says on the tin, taking us on an enrapturing journey that sluices through states like a mountain spring making its way to the ocean.

Following an illustrious stint as founding member of Mercury Music Prize nominated The  Comet Is Coming, and also Soccer96, the producer and synthesist, Danalogue, heralds a new chapter with his debut solo album, Teleportations.

His music has been supported by  Mike D from The Beastie Boys and Thom Yorke, has been A-listed on BBC6 Music, where  he has performed sessions for Mary Anne Hobbs, Tom Ravenscroft, Gilles Peterson and  Steve Lamacq. His tracks have featured on numerous TV shows such as I May Destroy  You, Black Ops and Utopia. He recently wrote his first video game soundtrack for C Smash VRS on Playstation; his work featuring alongside UNKLE and Ken Ishii.

As an integral part of the legendary East London studio/venue/community, Total Refreshment Centre, Danalogue has produced/mixed records for Snapped Ankles, Joshua Idehen and Rozi Plain, and collaborated on albums with Alabaster DePlume and Sarathy Korwar.
