Between June 1966 and April 1968, The Creation released six singles in the UK, beginning with 'Making Time' - recently finding a new audience as the theme to the Channel 4 TV programme The Great Pottery Throw Down. Their follow-up single 'Painter Man' reached No. 36 in November 1966, their only release to break into the Top 40, though the song would become an unlikely hit 13 years courtesy of Boney M.

While the band failed to find a wider audience in the UK beyond the evolving paisley-clad Mod scene, demand in Europe remained high, particularly in Germany. That phase of their career is represented here by their covers of Larry Williams' 'Bony Moronie', and The Tokens' 'For All That I Am'.
