Blending elements of punk, pop and electronic sounds, COWZ are a Brighton-based, self-produced queer alt-pop duo with music that can only be described as “girl’s girl music with violent and political undertones”.
DOMINATION - absolute BOP about capitalism and the world ending due to the selfishness of the richest 1%
MISS ANTOINETTE - a validating and dramatic anthem for those who make art and didn’t attend private school, or have a dad who works at a record label. “a powerful critique of nepotism and the barriers faced by artists without financial backing or industry connections”, Baby Step Magazine. ‘Miss Antoinette’ was a particularly important and personal release for COWZ, as it also refers to a lot of the struggles the band regularly experience with their disabilities both within, and outside of the music industry.
For fans of: AshNikko, Lilyisthatyou, INJI, UPSAHL, Kesha, Lozeak, Lambrini Girls, Slayyyter, The Pill, Zara Larsson, Alt Blk Era, Girli, Blondshell, Scene Queen
