These were originally recorded and mixed at Southern Studios, London in 1981 & 1983. Engineered by John Loder under the watchful eye of Penny Rimbaud (CRASS).
They have been fully remixed and mastered by Gav King who spent the last 18 years playing guitar for Conflict. Also included is the original versions remastered by Sid Truelove from the ¼ inch tapes. ‘To a Nation of Animal Lovers’ is a legendary, brutal anarcho-punk record that targets animal abuse. It uses intense punk and fierce lyrics to demand an end to animal testing and cruelty.
Conflict wasted no time stating their intent as the opening song, ‘Conflict’ charged into life with a razor wire guitar strike with Jerwood bellowing ‘CONFLICT!’ as the band revved into life.
