Released in 1998, International Velvet is the hit second studio album by Welsh alt-rock band, Catatonia, which topped the UK Albums Chart and became a defining record of the "Cool Cymru" movement.

Fronted by Cerys Matthews, the album achieved multi-platinum success powered by infectious, hook-heavy singles like "Mulder and Scully" and "Road Rage".
