Burntwick Smugglers, The - Punk Rockin' At Ranscombe

The Burntwick Smugglers are a five-piece Punk Rock band from Medway, known for their choice covers of hits gone by.

After a line up change from the original inception the guys have (for now) ditched the creative originals and decided to concentrate on taking the audience back to a time when music was real, raw and in your face. In Ronnie's words "our mission is to educate and enlighten" and  the tunes have been carefully handpicked.

They're definitely not Punk's Greatest Hits, but they are all significant. This wise sage also adds that "the best songs have already been written, so why waste your time writing new tunes when you could be indulging". The live appearances are a 'warts and all' Punk Rock Rollercoaster and they unashamedly adhere to the Punk Rock ethic of 'just having a go'… 

Punk Rockin' at Ranscombe is the second release from Medway's ubiquitous go-to Punk Rock warm up act 'The Burntwick Smugglers', who have supported the likes of The 5.6.7.8's, Auntie Vegetable and even The Prisoners (at their unplanned 'reunion' gig in 2021). Here we have five of their fave 'hits' from their live sets.
