Led by the Lana Del Rey duet “Lies,” Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs highlights Bryan’s ever-evolving maturation, and unpredictability, as an artist in real time. The EP also includes favorites from his live show like “Robot Killed The Working Man” and “Backwards,” as well as the rumored collaboration with fellow Oklahomans Turnpike Troubadours on “Plainsman.”
The Guardian noted; “Bryan challenges country's macho messaging in emotional songs of breakups, addiction and pain, lapped up by a charmed stadium-filled fanbase.” Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs is the next step in this journey, a gift from a songwriter who has fully come into his own, one record at a time, creating music that transcends any one genre, category or style.
