Bangles, The - Different Light

The all-female power pop group, The Bangles, had already attracted quite a lot of attention with their very catchy debut album All Over the Place. None other than Prince took notice and decided to give them his newly written song "Manic Monday". It became the groups first worldwide hit.

Fortunately, the whole album was filled with potential hits, too! The 12-track set spawned five charting singles, including the aforementioned “Manic Monday” and “If She Knew What She Wants”, “Walking Down Your Street”, “Following” and “Walk Like An Egyptian”.
