Atkins, Larry - Ain't That Love Enough / Lighten Up

The stomping intro to Larry Atkins’ ‘Ain’t That Love Enough’ leads into an excellent soul song by R&B stalwart Kent Harris. His mid-60s soul productions were as good as they come. The pairing repeated the formula on ‘Lighten Up’ a backing track that Kent also used on his partner Ty Karim’s ‘Lighten Up Baby’. Both sides here are recognised as Northern Soul classics.
