Closely tied to l’Association des Orchestres—a collective led by Jean-Claude Brosseau dedicated to Québec’s underground movement—Ellison quickly\nbecame part of a rising wave of hard-rock and psychedelic blues acts redefining the local scene.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\nBy 1971, Ellison were building momentum through relentless live performances across college campuses and schools, earning a strong following.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\nIn 1972, the band entered the studio with the Supreme label to record their first and only album. Released that same year, the record captured the raw intensity and spirit of their live shows.\nOn March 31, 1973, Ellison performed what would become their last known show in Montréal.
